Card v Card is a game where each player has a card linked to a bank account that MSCHF occasionally deposits money into. When money is deposited, players are notified and must spend it quickly.
Users can join a waitlist on the website. Selected individuals receive access codes via text message to redeem on the site, and their card is mailed to them.
Players receive text alerts when money is deposited. They can't overdraft their accounts, so they must spend wisely or risk having purchases declined.
MSCHF partnered with Privacy, a legitimate card issuer, ensuring that Card v Card is legally compliant by using standard credit card infrastructure.
Using Card v Card does not affect user's bank accounts, other credit cards, or credit scores. The accounts and cards are held by MSCHF and aren't linked to the players' own financial details.
